Facebook fundraisers are a great way to rally together with your friends and raise money towards a great cause. Money raised for Welcome Neighbor STL will go towards our programming to welcome and support refugees.
Follow these simple steps to create your own Facebook fundraiser:
1. Open Facebook.com and log in.
2. Select “Fundraisers” from left side menu
Tip: If you don’t see Fundraisers on the left, then click “See more”.
3. On the left side menu, click “Raise money”.
4. Type “Welcome Neighbor STL” in the search bar and then select Welcome Neighbor STL when it shows up in the menu.
5. Fill out the information in the left side menu, including the goal amount of money you want to raise.
6. Press “create” at the bottom of the left side menu.
7. You’ll see a screen pop up where you can invite your friends to donate to your fundraiser, share your fundraiser in your feed, or donate to the fundraiser yourself.
8. Your fundraiser is live! Thank you for your support!
