On Sunday,  Nov. 3rd. at 5:30 pm, Webster Groves Presbyterian Church invites you to a Welcome Neighbor STL Supper Club to support immigrant and refugee families in St. Louis. Enjoy food, conversation, and catching up with friends – old and new. From cultural exchange to just plain fun, look forward to a great evening.

These meals present an opportunity for immigrant and refugee families to share knowledge and skills unique to them. It is also an opportunity for us to get a glimpse into their culture. These fundraising efforts can set them on a path of greater independence and confidence in their lives here in the USA.

Parking is available in the lot just east of the church with additional parking behind the church of Moody. Enter the building through the doors of the parking lot.

The menu is FREE and contains:

KABULI POLAW:

Basmati rice cooked with onion, saffron, black pepper, cardamom, coriander, and cumin. Topped with raisins, nuts, and julienned carrots.

ASHAK:

Fresh pasta filled with scallions, leeks, and cilantro, served with yogurt-garlic sauce. seasoned with coriander, turmeric, and cayenne pepper, sprinkled with mint.

GOSH E-FIL:

Known as elephant’s ear is a fried sweet pastry with dough made from flour, milk, eggs, and sugar. These crunchy pastries are sprinkled with powdered cardamom, icing sugar, and crushed pistachios.
