On Sunday, March 8th. at 4 PM, Les Dames d’Escoffier invites you to a Welcome Neighbor STL International Supper Club at Saint Louis University to support immigrant and refugee families in St. Louis. Enjoy food, conversation, and catching up with friends – old and new. From cultural exchange to just plain fun, look forward to a great evening.
These meals present an opportunity for immigrant and refugee families to share knowledge and skills unique to them. It is also an opportunity for us to get a glimpse into their culture. These fundraising efforts can set them on a path of greater independence and confidence in their lives here in the USA.
The event includes a small educational element that celebrates food as a way of sharing culture and connection. The menu is prepared by immigrant chefs who bring the flavors, ingredients, and traditions of their homelands to St. Louis, enriching the city’s vibrant food community. Featuring dishes from Morocco and Syria, the meal highlights distinctive flavors shaped by regional ingredients and spice blends—such as warming spices, fresh herbs, and time-honored seasoning techniques—that reflect the histories and daily lives of these cultures.
In addition to enjoying the dinner, you can also contribute to our Unhoused Meal Program using the link at the bottom of the page. Every other Friday, our chefs prepare free meals to feed 100 unhoused individuals at the Peter and Paul Community Campus. Your donations will help us purchase groceries and other materials that our chefs need to prepare the food. We appreciate your generosity!
Event Location: The Allied Health Professions Building, 3437 Caroline Street, St. Louis MO 63104. Visitor parking is available in the Hickory East Garage. A map of the SLU medical campus is below.
