Welcome Neighbor STL is a community group supporting refugees and immigrants living in the Hodiamont Apartments (UN Zone Hodiamont) as they begin a new life in St. Louis. We offer emotional and social support primarily by partnering American volunteers with new families.

Every other month, we sponsor a toiletries drive. If you’d like to join in our next donation drive, just purchase any of the following items in any quantity and drop them off at 7566 Cornell Avenue in U City on or before Thursday August 3^rd.  We’ll be packing up bags of donations between 6:00 and 8:00pm, with pizza and beverages for volunteers! We’ve started using large IKEA bags to put our donations in, and the families can repurpose these as laundry bags and totes.

Some volunteers have opted to use Amazon to send a delivery of toiletries ahead of time, which is wonderful and really appreciated. If you want to do that, here’s the shipping info:
