On April 29th at 6pm, Trinity Lutheran Church Kirkwood invites you to a Welcome Neighbor STL Supper Club to support immigrant families in St. Louis. Enjoy food, conversation, and catching up with friends – old and new. From cultural exchange to just plain fun, look forward to a great evening.

These meals present an opportunity for immigrant families to share knowledge and skills unique to them. It is also an opportunity for us to get a glimpse into their culture. These fundraising efforts can set them on a path of greater independence and confidence in their lives here in the USA.

The menu is $35 and contains:

SALAD:

Carrot salad with Moroccan charmoula (Marinade of Herbs and Spices: cilantro, parsley, garlic, olive oil, and cumin).

APPETIZER:

Veggie briwats stuffed with vegetables, herbs and spices.

ENTREE:

Sweet chicken tagine with caramelized onion, dried prunes, olive oil, herbs, cinnamon, ginger, and turmeric.

SIDE:

Loubia: Zesty and saucy Moroccan Stewed white beans with tomatoes, and spices.

DESSERT:

Coconut macaroons: Gluten Free macaroons made of Coconut, Vanilla, Sugar, and Eggs.
