We’re excited to kick off our Wednesday evening tutoring program for the new school year! Sessions will resume on September 24 from 6-7:30pm.

If you’re interested in becoming a tutor, please plan to attend a training session on Wednesday, September 10 at 7pm at First Unitarian Church (5007 Waterman Blvd). Reach out to Jon Magruder at [email protected] to rsvp.

Volunteer tutors will support refugee students—ranging from upper elementary through high school—with homework help, basic literacy skills, and more on Wednesday evenings.

No teaching experience is required, just a desire to help!
